FLYING COW THEATRE
A theatre where we can explore, empathise and create together

Flying Cow Theatre was founded in Tallinn in December 2017.
In our productions we draw on physical theatre, object theatre and shadow theatre, as well as elements of circus.
One of the theatre’s main aims is to create a space where children and adults can feel free, explore, discover something new in themselves and in one another, and learn to empathise, work together and create together.
An important part of the theatre’s inner life is the Dragon Dreaming methodology. Our team tries to live and work by its principles: attention to each person’s dream, collaboration, shared decision-making, personal development, community development, restoring a connection with Nature, and care for the world around us.
It matters to us that these principles do not remain only within the team, but also find expression in what we create on stage. Through performances and the encounter with the audience, we seek to convey ideas of interconnectedness, empathy, and responsibility for one another and for the world of which we are a part.
We make performances for family, children’s and adult audiences, and take part in international theatre festivals and projects.
Since 2017 the theatre has been a member of the Estonian centre of ASSITEJ.
